The "medium rare" steak was RAW and about 1/8" thick and disgusting. I grew up eating at greasy spoons cafes in Texas, so my standards are pretty damn low. I don't mind waiting a little bit, my food doesn't have to be perfect, and I pretty much am cool with the service as long as the server isn't a total bitch. With all that said, this place was still a 0.5 on a scale of 5. The only way I could give a lower rating is if I found a bug in my food. If your elementary school cafeteria were to serve steaks, this would be on par with the quality....only the cafeteria steaks would be cooked. In addition to the awful food quality, the service and wait time was ridiculous. I saw three people working on one order for 2 sandwiches before our order and it took the three of them 20 minutes to get it together. Our order came out another 10 minutes later. Finally, there was very little seating. It is not good for groups of more than 2 because there is not enough chairs for everyone. This "discount" eatery is just a bad plan around. I've heard the other Steakhouse at Boomtown is amazing, but expensive. Next time I'll shell out the extra $$ to get a decent meal.
